'After a while, I said I was ready for bed. I hadn't really thought about where I would sleep.'. Carter, who is the brother of Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter, continued: 'Obviously, there were tons of rooms in the house. 'But he pulled out this cot next to his bed that was already made.

[Carter admitted: 'I never asked him about it, and we never mentioned it. When I woke up in the morning, he was gone from the room' (seen in 2000)]

'I never asked for the cot, but there it was. I didn't care. I was tired. He turned out the lights and got in his bed, and we went to sleep.'. Aaron Carter's troubling comments about sharing a bed with Michael Jackson have resurfaced, years after the release of the late pop star's memoir.

In his unfinished memoir titled Aaron Carter: An Incomplete Story, fans were shocked to read about an 'uncomfortable' encounter the hitmaker had with late music icon at Neverland Ranch. Several hours later, Carter claimed that something woke him up and he allegedly 'found Michael at the foot of my cot in his tighty-whitey underwear.'.

He wrote: 'I don't know if he was sleepwalking or what, but he seemed to still be asleep. "What the f***!?" I shouted and shook him a little to wake him. '"Go back to your bed!" He just mumbled, "okay," then got back into his bed, and we both went back to sleep.'.

Carter admitted he never spoke with the musician about the incident as he concluded: 'I never asked him about it, and we never mentioned it. When I woke up in the morning, he was gone from the room.'. At the time, Carter's representatives spoke out against the memoir and released a statement which read: 'This is a time for mourning and reflection, not heartless money grabs and attention seeking.'.

Jackson's close association with young boys was a subject of much controversy throughout his life and he faced numerous accusations of child molestation. The Thriller singer has long remained under scrutiny, with the 2019 documentary Leaving Neverland reigniting backlash against the late star.

The project featured interviews with Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who accused Jackson of molesting them as children. Carter claimed that something woke him up and he allegedly 'found Michael at the foot of my cot in his tighty-whitey underwear'. Carter admitted: 'I never asked him about it, and we never mentioned it. When I woke up in the morning, he was gone from the room' (seen in 2000).

The Jackson family denied the claims and denounced the film, comparing it to a 'public lynching.'. Meanwhile, Jackson was previously acquitted at his criminal trial in 2005, in a case involving another young man. Robson testified at that trial, saying he had slept in Jackson's room many times, but that Jackson had never molested him. Safechuck made similar statements to investigators as a boy.

Both men filed lawsuits in 2013 saying stress and trauma had forced them to face the truth and admit they were sexually abused. Jackson died of cardiac arrest on June 25, 2009, in Los Angeles. Months before his own death, Carter had actually defended Michael Jackson, though he did admit that there was one time in which the popstar was 'inappropriate.'.

During a conversation on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition, he detailed his relationship with Jackson as a child before several sexual abuse allegations came against the Bad hitmaker. Aaron stated: 'Michael was a really good guy, as far as I know, a really good guy. He never did anything that was inappropriate. Except for one time. There was one thing that he did that was a little bit inappropriate.'.

Carter previously defended Michael Jackson but admitted that there was one time in which the popstar was 'inappropriate' (seen in 2001). Carter was 34 when he was tragically found dead in a bathtub by a housekeeper on November 5, 2022, at his home in Lancaster, California.

The Oh Aaron singer's friendship with Jackson has been the subject of headlines numerous times since then. In a 2004 interview, Carter's mother Jane told Access Hollywood she was 'furious' that her son had spent an unsupervised night at Jackson's Neverland Ranch without her permission.

The star's cause of death has been attributed to drowning after inhaling compressed difluoroethane, also known as huffing, and ingesting alprazolam, which is sold under the brand name Xanax. In 2023, Carter's fiancé, Melanie Martin - on behalf of her son by Aaron, Princeton Lyric Carter, now three, - filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Dr. Faber, Amen Clinic that he worked for and Walgreens pharmacy, claiming that Carter died because of drugs that were medically prescribed.
