'As you can imagine, it was a bit of a shock given what I had just put my body through, but I'm in awe of what the human body can do,' she said. Nevertheless, Abbey said she and Keegan 'could not be happier to welcome our first child into the world, later this year'.

Abbey said the couple have been sharing their milestone news with as many people in person as possible, adding that it's 'a really special time for us all'. The former sportswoman discovered her pregnancy just a few weeks after she returned home to Australia following her New York Marathon run.
