Drake's entourage, including bodyguard Nessel 'Chubbs' Beezer, have been spotted watching Kendrick Lamar's brutal Super Bowl performance at Crown Melbourne. A TikTok user shared the shock moment in which several high-ranking members of Drake's crew, who were dressed in tour outfits, were seen intently watching Kendrick's headline grabbing half time show at a casino bar. The awkward encounter comes amid the ongoing tension between the two rap giants, who have been feuding for years despite early collaborations. The clash between the two artists has been well-documented, with Drake attempting to prevent Lamar from performing the track during the Super Bowl, only for Lamar to go ahead and perform it in front of 83,000 fans. Many of Drake's fans took to the comment section to speculate about the footage.

'I know there was silence on that table when it was over,' a second user added.

'Drake is going to drop his new diss track in Melbourne,' a third suggested. It comes after Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl performance was branded the 'worst halftime show ever' by fans – a feat that was celebrated by his rap rival Drake, insiders claim. Toronto-born Drake and multi Grammy winner Lamar have been embroiled in a furious rivalry for years. Drake, 38, had desperately tried to prevent Lamar, 37, from performing his scathing diss track Not Like Us.

He had reportedly banned his close friends from watching the set and refused to talk about it. But despite his failure to veto the track, he was 'happy' that viewers tuning in at home were less than impressed by Lamar's performance. The video of the group watching Lamar slam their boss in his fiery Not Like Us diss track quickly went viral, despite reports an upset Drake 'banned' his crew from watching the event. 'Drake put his friends on a Super Bowl ban and did not tune into the show,' an insider told DailyMail.com. 'He was not able to stop Not Like Us from being played and wasn't happy about it. 'He knows it resonated with Kendrick's target audience who have basically exiled him.

'But he is happy that people weren't impressed by Kendrick's performance and is feeling better about his chances of a comeback - even if he does feel that he has lost some of his core fans.'. Fans blasted the show on social media, with one writing: 'Worst halftime show ever, not a fan.'. 'I genuinely can't tell if I'm being biased against Kendrick but I think this is the worst halftime show I've seen in a minute,' another added.

'I thought The Weekend was bad but Kendrick Lamar took that spot!' echoed a third. Pulitzer prize winning Lamar had a surprise introduction from actor Samuel L. Jackson, 76, who was dressed up as 'Uncle Sam' before he performed a medley of his hits which saw him joined on stage at New Orleans' Caesars Superdome by R&B singer SZA, 35. Despite Drake recently suing his and Lamar's record label, Universal Music Group, over the controversial Not Like Us, Lamar performed the song, but he omitted the accusation.

UMG issued a statement refuting Drake's allegations at the time, stating: 'Not only are these claims untrue, but the notion that we would seek to harm the reputation of any artist — let alone Drake — is illogical.'. Lamar made reference to the lawsuit before launching into the track, telling the crowd: 'I want to perform their favourite song, but you know they love to sue.'. Drake is currently performing his Anita Max Win Tour to packed stadiums across Australia.
