It’s been one heck of a traumatic few months for EastEnders’ Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) and things start to catch up with her in heartbreaking scenes next week. Bianca was held captive in a storage unit for months by killer Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman), and upon her escape, she helped sister Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) give birth in the ruins of the Queen Vic following an explosion.

Bianca, Sonia and many other residents on the Square have also been coming to terms with the death of Martin Fowler (James Bye), who perished in the accident last week. Broken by recent events, Bianca is struggling to face the outside world next week, as her best mate Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) desperately tries to support her.

Despite Queen Vic co-owner George Knight’s (Colin Salmon) reassurances that she was not responsible for what happened, Bianca continues to feel like a prisoner and can’t bear to leave the house. Later, Kat visits her friend to offer support as Bianca begins to open up about her trauma.

The Knights then try to coax Bianca into going to Beale’s Eels, but she gets overwhelmed and can’t leave the house. Kat returns to give a struggling Bianca some advice, but when she gives her suggestions a try, things don’t go as planned. Meanwhile, Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) also tries to reach Bianca and heads over to Beales Eels to get some food for her, but some lads end up kicking off at him.
When Peter Beale (Thomas Law) sounds the alarm, Bianca realises she has to fight her fears to be there for her friend. But will Bianca finally accept some help herself?. EastEnders airs these scenes from Monday 3 March at 7.30pm on BBC One or stream first from 6am on iPlayer.
