Actor Tony Mathews died after surgery in 2023, it has been confirmed. The veteran actor was best known for roles in the likes of The Bill, Inspector Morse and Poirot. Tony also starred in The Duellists and played Royston Andrews in The Governor. It was confirmed today that an inquest into his death will be held in Kent.
