Emmerdale actor Joe-Warren Plant has teased another death could soon hit the Dales. Joe-Warren plays Jacob Gallagher in the hit ITV soap and devastatingly lost his mum Leyla Harding in tragic scenes last week amid a horror limo crash. As well as his mum, two other people died - Suzy and Amy - and another body lies dead at the bottom of the lake.

However, new spoilers have revealed there could be sad scenes ahead. Jacob suffers a panic attack at work next week, with the drama and heartbreak of the last few weeks weighing heavy on him. He heads to the Hide for a drink with Rich, leaving both Belle and Laurel concerned about him. It's clear Jacob is hiding his real pain.

When Sarah arrives, she tries to talk to Jacob but he dismisses her. She's clearly upset by his behaviour, but Sarah has other things on her mind too as she looks at an unopened pregnancy test in her bag. When she takes it, she realises it's positive - but how does she take the news, and what could that spell for both her and Jacob's future?.

We know that Sarah has a life limiting condition called fanconi anaemia. It is a rare inherited bone marrow failure syndrome and it affects the production of blood cells. The life expectancy of a person who fanconi anaemia is between 20 and 30, meaning it could end up leading to Sarah's death sooner than expected.

Speaking about the storyline, Joe-Warren revealed to The Mirror and other press: "Jacob has a tendency that people leave him in his life and I think he’s finally clocking onto that and that’s one of the reasons why he’s pushing people away in certain situations.

"If there was a baby, I think Jacob would definitely think about - how would I raise a child on my own? But at the end of the day, if he really loves Sarah, then that wouldn’t be a good excuse to bin things off. If it came down to it, he’d definitely step up.".

However, Joe-Warren has teased some big scenes ahead. He said: "I can’t wait. The new episodes that are coming through have got me excited and I’m looking forward to the next year.". Like this story?
