Emmerdale fans were left reeling after last night's episode revealed why April Windsor ran away from home, with star Amelia Flanagan taking on her toughest storyline yet. However, Amelia isn't the only soap star in her family. Tuesday night's Emmerdale episode followed April as she ran away from the village after discovering she was pregnant. While she hoped to stay with friends, she ended up sleeping rough and meeting other troubled youngsters along the way.
In tragic scenes, April lost her baby, having a stillbirth in the toilets of a gym. Amelia plays April in Emmerdale, Bella plays Hope Stape & Will plays Joseph Brown in Corrie.". After April's special episode, Chris spoke out about his daughter's commitment to the storyline. Writing on social media, he said: "Couldn’t be prouder of Amelia, she worked so hard on this.
"11 years ago when our little 5 year old got the job we could never have dreamed that one day she’d be trusted with her own ep. Proudest dad ever right now!". After last night's episode, Emmerdale fans quickly shared their theory for who the father of April's stillborn baby could be - with many certain that it could be Samson or his friend Josh. They were last seen on screen in August 2024 when Samson was sentenced to prison for attacking Josh.
