On Sunday, his mother, Jess, issued a plea to members of the public to help them find the 14-year-old boy after he went missing on Sunday. She published a message on Instagram stating that they were 'desperately looking for Kade' and that he had been headed towards the Penrith area.

But later on in the evening, she took to the social media platform again to announce the news that the teenager had been found and thanked those who had offered support to the family. 'Update: Kade has been found!!!' She wrote, before adding: 'He is now safe with our friends.
