A spectator produced one of the most outrageous catches we've seen so far this year, and perhaps even more spectacularly, didn't seem to spill a drop of his drink at the same time. Australia and England went head-to-head on Sunday in the first ODI of the Women's Ashes series this summer, with the hosts claiming the first victory.

It was an impressive all-around performance by Ash Gardener coupled with a half-century from Alyssa Healy that led the hosts to a four-wicket victory in the first match of the series. The win will give Australia a two-point lead in the series, yet Healy's side are staying cautious of getting too complacent, with the memory of England's comeback in 2023 still fresh in the memory.

The tourists would set Australia a target of 204 after Heather Knight's side were bowled out in the 43rd over. Knight produced a captain's knock, taking the highest score (39) for her side and was closely followed by Danni Wyatt-Hodge (38) before she was dismissed by Annabel Sutherland.

A cricket fan took a simply sensational catch during the first ODI of the Women's Ashes on Sunday. The man produced the one-handed feat without spilling a single drop of his beer too. It came as Australia secured a four-wicket victory against England in their first ODI of the summer.

A bizarre moment unfolded mid-way through the first innings§ where Amy Jones, who struck 31 off 30 balls, launched Annabel Sutherland for six towards deep square leg. It was a huge strike, with the ball crossing the boundary line before flying into the crowd.
