LEGENDARY Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman has been found dead alongside his wife. The couple's dog was also found dead at their home in Santa Fe, California. Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza confirmed just after midnight the couple had passed away.

Hackman also starred in the hit movies Runaway Jury, The French Connection, The Royal Tenenbaums, Unforgiven, and The Conservation. In 1993, Hackman scooped the gong in the best supporting actor award category for his role in Unforgiven. Cops have said there are no signs of foul play, per the Santa Fe New Mexican.
