An argument on Geordie Shore saw cast members attempt to keep two co-stars apart before security stepped in. The MTV show - also released through Paramount+ - has headed to Thailand for the new series, which launched last month. The latest episode, released yesterday, ended with tense scenes following a group night out on the trip.

Tensions rose on the way home when Abbie Holborn, 27, and Scotty T, 36, were seen cosying up in their taxi. The pair ended up kissing, which then prompted commentary from Chantelle Connelly, 35, from the back of the vehicle. She suggested that Scotty would rather cuddle up to co-star Chloe Ferry, 29, and that it was "embarrassing" for Abbie.

Once back at their accommodation, Abbie and Chantelle clashed over the situation in one of the bedrooms. Abbie recalled: "I was sat in the taxi and you were going 'ah imagine how embarrassed would you be when you know that Scott wants to get with Chloe instead of you'.".

Chantelle reiterated that she did find it "embarrassing" and asked Chloe to "back her up," but her co-star responded: "Let's just leave it". Abbie went on to say: "Fight your own arguments! Fight your own arguments, not everyone else's.". Responding, Chantelle assured that she was "fighting [her] own argument" before Abbie described her as "nasty" in the scene. Chantelle denied the claim though, saying back to her: "I'm not nasty. I'm real!" In a confessional she added: "I'm f***ing sick of Abbie sticking her nose in everyone's business and God forbid anyone says anything about her.".

Kyle Christie then appeared to attempt to prevent further escalation of the tension within the bedroom where they were, but the pair start shouting at each other. Abbie was heard saying in a confessional: "Who does Chantelle think she is? Slagging me off in the taxi. This is what you get.".

Amid their argument, Abbie said to Chantelle: "You started on me. You started on me, idiot." Whilst being guided out of the room, Chantelle refuses to leave and says: "I'm going nowhere! This is my room just as much as it's yours'.". Held back by Nathan Henry, Abbie yelled: "You've never been in it the whole f***ing time." Amid Abbie leaving the room, Chantelle, held back by Ricci Guarnaccio, continued to shout back, with her appearing to say at one point: "What are you gonna f***ing do?". A security guard was then seen alongside her as she began walking out of the bedroom.
