Good Morning Britain viewers were left less than impressed during Thursday's show due to comments made about darts player Luke Littler. After a video was shown, presenter Adil Ray made remarks about his appearance. He said: "I have to say and this might not be very popular, I'm a little bit worried about Luke. He's 17 and he's turning into the look of a darts player.".
As Sean Fletcher could be heard awkwardly laughing in the background, Adil highlighted his eating habits. He continued: "He is though. If I were his mum and dad, I mean, he's sort of - look at him.". "He's admitted he has pizzas before a match and sits there playing computer games. I just think I'm a bit worried.".
Co-host Kate Garraway asked: "Are you? He's so successful.". "I know but he's going to get more successful and I just worry," Adil hit back as his co-star questioned if he was "fretting". "I don't want him to get too unhealthy," Adil continued as Kate joked he could "pop over with a carrot". "See how that goes down," she teased.
Adil laughed: "Just before the final, I've brought a nice little salad for you from Pret.". "To be fair, lots of 17 year-olds like pizza," Kate chipped in. "But I know what you mean, you're concerned, I like that.". Adil concluded: "He's brilliant though, I absolutely love him, he's great.".
