Helen Skelton revealed her life has been made after catching her son watching the show that shot her to fame - Blue Peter. The presenter, 41, starred on the iconic BBC children's show from 2008 to 2013 and during her time on the programme she kayaked along the Amazon river, completed the Namibian Ultra Marathon, and cycled all the way to the South Pole.

Over the snap, the Countryfile presenter wrote: 'Life made...watching Blue Peter'. Helen then shared a video to her Instagram of an episode where Anthea Turner and Gethin Jones could be seen running covered in mud.
