Interior enthusiasts are buzzing over a new Kmart dupe said to be one of the most accurate yet. The $39 Iggy Side Table, which looks almost identical to the very popular $390 Ziggy Stump by fenton&fenton, snuck onto Australian shelves last week and has been an instant hit. Crafted from medium-density fibreboard and plastic, the table serves as a stylish cookie-cutter accent piece with a unique silhouette and an on-trend sage colourway.

It weighs just six kilograms, stands 48cm high and holds a maximum of 10 kilograms making it perfect for lamps, books, plants and small decorative pieces. To compare, the fenton&fenton design comes in eight colours, is made with 100 per cent fibreglass, has a lacquer paint finish and stands at 46cm high. Tash, the brains behind The Styling Diaries, regularly shares interiors and lifestyle tricks on a budget and snapped up two of the new Kmart must-haves for herself.

A long-time fan of the fenton&fenton stumps, the Brisbane-based DIY pro decided to recreate her two favourites (Spice and Blush) with a splash of paint from Bunnings. 'For $390 it's just not in my budget but I've always loved it; I love the funky shape and the fun colours it comes in,' Tash said in a TikTok video. Tash, the brains behind The Styling Diaries, snapped up two of the new Kmart must-haves for herself and transformed them (pictured in brown) using spray paint from Bunnings. 'I went to Bunnings, grabbed some spray paint and got to work. I got a chocolate brown and a baby pink.'. Tash used the brand Squirts for the chocolate brown and only needed the one can for a brilliant result. Both include a primer in the base to cut timing down even further.

She needed to return to Bunnings for a second can of the pink to reach the level of coverage she desired. The results, she said, were worth the extra effort and could be achieved with regular paint as well. 'Look how cute this one looks in my guest bedroom,' she said, debuting the new-look Kmart buy. 'I love pairing browns with pinks and purples and it looks so similar to the original but without the high price tag.

'The baby pink I absolutely love, I'm going to do a couple more coats over it but I am so happy with these dupes.'. Fans were wildly impressed with Tash's effort, with many vowing to try and replicate her work themselves. 'The guest bedroom is stunning and this definitely completes it,' one gushed. 'Is there anything Kmart can’t dupe?'.

Another wrote: 'This is genius and worth it even if it doesn't last as long!'. As many would have seen, Kmart dupes have been setting the internet alight of late as the brand's popularity continues to rise across the nation. Stand-outs include the $12 Hermes-inspired slides, the $5 Glossier lip gloss dupe, the $25 AllSaints-eque dress and the $25 'It girl' shirt thought to be inspired by the Dishh Rhea shirt.
