A UK vlogger tried incredibly expensive viral grapes from Harrods and has given his verdict. Carmie Sellitto bought the £75 grapes from the luxury London department store and posted a reel on Instagram to share his thoughts. For the price, he got roughly 50 grapes in the whole bunch.

The first thing he noticed about the pricey fruit was the size. The green seedless grapes were very big and he also admired the packaging they came in, which is not surprising seeing as he bought them from Harrods. Speaking in the Instagram reel which shows him buying and tasting the grapes, he said: “Trying the viral £75 grapes from Harrods and yes I can’t believe it either. Let’s get to it, £75 grapes.

“These are massive and it has some Japanese writing that I can’t read. Woah the packaging is so sick. Why do I feel so nervous? Probably because one grape is £1.50. It looks so strange.”. After taking a bite of one of the grapes, he added: “I don't know how I feel about it. I don't know if it's worth £75.” Holding a grape up towards the camera he continued: “Massive isn't it? It’s like a mini apple. Tastes a bit like candyfloss. Mmm actually I think the first one I had was a little bit bad maybe.”.

He then got two friends to try the grapes on camera with him. One remarked: “It’s actually really nice” and the other described it as “interesting.”. Carmie’s Instagram reel has garnered an impressive 1.9 million views, 20,000 likes and more than 1,000 comments. One user commented: “There is absolutely no justification to charge this much for grapes wtf.”.
