SPRING time means spring cleaning, and if organising your wardrobe is on your to-do list Ikea has just the thing. Shoppers shared their excitement over a budget-friendly buy that will transform how you store your accessories. So quit tucking scarves into coat collars and looping belts over your wardrobe handles.

Ikea's Komplement Multi-use Hanger is currently available online and in-store for just £3. According to manufacturers, this hanger is "perfect for showing off your collection of shawls or to keep belts and ties in order". The hanger features 18 connected circles, designed to hold all your accessories.

This affordable item will maximise the storage space in your wardrobe. "It holds up to 18 different accessories without taking more space than an ordinary hanger," manufacturers explained. And it can be used elsewhere in the home too. They added that the hanger can also be used in bathrooms and "other damp areas indoors".

This can help you to organise and store your wash cloths and smaller towels. According to storage experts, a multi-purpose hanger can help to save up to 70% of your space. The hanger has received an average rating of 4.7 stars out of five from customers.

Ikea shoppers shared their experiences with the hanger on the site's review section. "Like many products at Ikea, the genius is maximising functionality through a simplicity in design," wrote one buyer. They summed up the multi-purpose hanger as "simple yet effective".

"Bought this to try and help organise my wardrobe," wrote another reviewer. Renovations expert Andy Simms, from MyBuilder.com revealed the hottest interior design trends for this year. COLOUR DRENCHING. Colour drenching involves using your colour across walls and ceilings to maximise the impact and create the illusion of a bigger space - doors, radiators, and even furniture won’t escape the paint job if you want the full effect. Brown, terracotta, beige - once the preserve of the 70s, earthy colours have been slowly gaining popularity. Similarly, bold greens and blues are also making a return, with the intention of colour drenching rooms.

STATEMENT WALLPAPER. Wallpaper divides designers, with some loving it and others preferring painted walls. 2025 will see a resurgence of wallpaper, and the bolder the better. For small spaces, such as downstairs loos or studies, choose a bold print and ignore any concerns about making the space look smaller. For larger spaces, consider a stunning mural theme.

BROKEN LIVING PLAN. Open plan living has been popular for over a decade now, but while it hasn’t quite had its day, many are returning to smaller, functional spaces - with a twist. “Broken plan” is when a bigger space is cut into various parts using screens, archways, crittal-style windows and doors or textured glass.

"It’s simple to use. Hang the item, hang your scarves and ties, some things will need to be looped but the material grips fairly well to the material of most of my scarves.". "You can hang so many different types of things or even use it to display stuff! I'll be hanging my scarves! So they are easily accessible!" said a third customer.

Another Ikea shopper revealed that they used the hanger to store Christmas decorations. They described it as a "great item and really useful for lots of things round the house". "Stored all my belts and scarves and still have space. Every wardrobe needs one," wrote one buyer.
