JESSICA ENNIS-HILL led the stars in attendance at the BBC Sport Personality of the Year awards in Manchester. Ennis-Hill stunned in a green dress while she was joined on the carpet by rower Imogen Grant and cyclist Laura Kenny. Grant's navy dress was actually made upcycled rowing kits.

The 17-year-old stepped out on the red carpet wearing a black tuxedo. Other outsiders are triathlete Alex Yee, cricketer Joe Root, cyclist and swimmer Sarah Storey and England star Jude Bellingham. Last year's winner was England Lionesses keeper Mary Earps.
