Katie Price has opened up on her fears for son Harvey Price and his weight. The former glamour model was emotional as she revealed her son, who weighs 28 stone, is always hungry due to a rare gentic condition. Katie, 46, fears her eldest son, 22, may die if he doesn't receive any help with his spiralling weight. She told how top doctors have said action needs to be taken to improve Harvey's life. She confessed the situation with Harvey is "really serious" and explained how he is at risk of a heart attack. Mum-of-five Katie candidly shared that due to his condition, Harvey isn't getting smaller at present.

Speaking to the Sun, Katie said: "He’s putting on weight. It doesn’t matter what we do. He can’t put his shoes on without sweating. He can’t walk far because he gets out of breath.". Harvey has a number of debilitating conditions including autism, septo-optic dysplasia, ADHD and oppositional defiant disorder. "We’ve tried food, he’s had dieticians, it’s just the way he is," said Katie.

GP Dr Zoe Williams told The Sun: “A recognised symptom of Prader-Willi syndrome is an everyday constant insatiable hunger and desire to eat which is more pronounced than most of us will ever experience.". Last month, Katie had to deny she was having the jab when followers noted her own weight loss. She addressed the concerns on Rob Moore’s podcast, Disruptors, and said that coming off of IVF was actually the reason behind her slimmed-down figure: “So people have said I've lost loads of weight. Now there's a programme coming out in January, my IVF journey. Anyone you know who's had IVF, you put on weight. I had three IVFs the past 15 months. They all failed.”.

Katie also said that being injured impacted her weight: “It started from when I broke my feet. They said I'd never run again. So I couldn't run, wasn't exercising, couldn't ride my horses, so basically, I was in a wheelchair for 10 months.". She was then asked about weight loss jabs, saying she had no experience with it. However, she admitted her son Harvey was about to start taking it. She said when questioned at the time: “No, but Harvey's going on that. So I've had to sit there with the doctors. I think when it comes to things like that, I think because of Harvey and all the medication and that he has, I think people have to be really careful with things like that.
