Kim Kardashian risked bumping into her ex, Pete Davidson, when she rocked up on the red carpet for SNL 50 on the weekend. The former couple went viral in 2021 when they performed an iconic Aladdin sketch on the long-running US comedy show when Kim's marriage to ex-husband Kanye West was on its last legs. Kim, 44, and Pete, 31, went onto to date for nine months after she split from Kanye, but ended up calling it quits, citing "scheduling conflicts". However, three years later, The Kardashians star made sure she was dressed to impress the former funny man when she arrived for SNL's 50th anniversary show on Saturday.
Wearing a form-fitting silver, sequinned dress, which hugged her curves to perfection, the SKIMS star shone on the red carpet. Kim always scrubs up well, but looked particularly striking for the star-studded bash, wearing her raven hair in loose curls and keeping her make-up predictably glam. Pete also looked dapper as he posed for paparazzi shots in a crisp suit and tie outside Studio 8H in New York, showing off the results of his own glow-up. Pete has had quite a transformation since dating Kim and sent fans into a frenzy when he posed for photos, shirtless, last week.
Striking a series of poses for clothing brand, Reformation, Pete shows off his toned torso as he lies on the floor, showing off the results of his epic tattoo removal on Instagram. The SNL star has spent a whopping $200,000 on removing all ink from his body, which has sent fans wild. Following the sexy snaps, many called for Kim to rekindle her romance with Pete as one took to social media, commenting: "If I'm Kim I'm calling him ASAP." Another reckoned Pete wants Kim back as they said: "He wants Kim back. He looks really good here. I think we all owe Kim K an apology.".
Meanwhile, a third credited the SKIMS star for influencing her ex, as they said: "Thought this was Skims,' with another replying: "The Kardashian effect". Kim and Pete famously connected back in November 2021, after meeting on set while Kim made her SNL hosting debut. They began dating just one month later, with Pete getting four tattoos dedicated to Kim, which he had removed after they called it quits after nine months together in August 2022.
Nearly four years after her hosting debut, Kim put her comedy skills to the test again on the weekend for the show's 50th anniversary. During The Lawrence Welk Show sketch, hosted by Fred Armisen, Kristen Wiig reprised her hilarious role as Dooneese Maharelle, famous for her freakishly small doll hands. Her three sisters were played by Scarlett Johansson, Ana Gasteyer and Kim - who did her best to get into the spirit of the sketch.
