The 2025 TV Choice Awards are back again and are being held at London Hilton on Park Lane on Monday, February 10, 2025. The ceremony is set to celebrate the best of British TV. Hosted by the brilliant Jason Manford - the exciting event will welcome TV's biggest names for a night of well-deserved recognition after a year of incredible TV. From laugh-out-loud comedies to gripping dramas, feel-good daytime hits to unmissable reality TV, this year’s nominees bring to life the shows, stories, and talent that captivated the nation.

Back in November, the shortlist nominations were unveiled, with Netflix series Baby Reindeer taking on ITV/STV drama Mr Bates Vs The Post Office in the Best Drama category. Other categories include Best Comedy Show, Best Reality Show, Best Family Drama, Best Drama Performance, Best Soap and many more. Comedian and radio host Jason Manford is hosting the 28th TV Choice Awards. Jason said: "I'm really looking forward to making my TV Choice Awards debut at The London Hilton in February. It's an event that brings together so many great shows and performers and knowing that one of my programmes has made it onto the shortlist makes.".

The Mirror has put together a list of some snubs from the TV Choice Awards 2025 following the awards ceremony tonight. Not everyone was a winner at the event, with the likes of EastEnders and This Morning missing out on awards. The TV Choice Awards ceremony has concluded, with a number of shows taking home awards tonight. Emmerdale was among the winners, whilst Vera star Brenda Blethyn took home an award for Outstanding Contribution.

Emmerdale has been named Best Soap at the TV Choice Awards 2025. The long-running show had been in the category alongside Coronation Street, EastEnders and Doctors. It's said to be the fifth time that Emmerdale has won the award, after having received the accolade last year too. Coronation Street cast member Peter Ash has been awarded Best Soap Performance for his role as the character Paul Foreman, who died on the show last year after being diagnosed with MND.

Emmerdale star Beth Cordingly has instead been named Best Soap Newcomer after making her debut as Ruby Fox Milligan last year. Her character has featured heavily in recent months as part of an ongoing storyline involving her family. Vera star Brenda Blethyn has been honoured with the award for Outstanding Contribution at the TV Choice Awards tonight. She played DCI Vera Stanhope on the show - which ended earlier this year - for 14 years.

The award for Best Drama Series has been given to All Creatures Great and Small this year. Whilst Best Comedy Performance has been awarded to Nicola Coughlan for her role as Maggie in Big Mood. Best Game Show was awarded to Michael McIntyre's the Wheel during the awards ceremony earlier. It's also been announced that Toby Jones won Best Drama Performance for his portrayal of Alan Bates in Mr Bates vs The Post Office.

Channel 5 has been given the award for Favourite Channel/Streaming Service at the TV Choice Awards 2025. It had been up against Netflix, BBC iPlayer and Talking Pictures TV for the award. Strictly Come Dancing has won Best Talent Show at the TV Choice Awards following its 20th anniversary series last year. It was also announced in the ceremony that Best Family Drama has been awarded to Call the Midwife.

Best Factual Show was awarded to Springtime/Harvest/Winter On The Farm. Whilst the award for Best Comedy Show went to Ghosts. Fans of the Hairy Bikers have reacted to the news that Si King and the late Dave Myers won Best Food Show for their series the Hairy Bikers Go West. It's been suggested that it was "well deserved" and a "poignant win" by fans. I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here! has been given the award for Best Reality Show at this year's TV Choice Awards. Guests also saw Mr Bates vs the Post Office awarded Best New Drama.

Long Lost Family has been awarded Best Lifestyle Show at the event this week. Elsewhere in the ceremony, the Hairy Bikers Go West was named the Best Food Show. Escape to the Country has been named the Best Daytime Show at the TV Choice Awards tonight. Whilst Gogglebox/Celebrity Gogglebox has been awarded Best Entertainment Show. Some of the winners from tonight's ceremony have been revealed!. Toby Jones, who plays Alan Bates in Mr Bates vs The Post Office, has won Best Drama Performance whilst Call the Midwife won Best Family Drama. There has also been wins for Strictly Come Dancing, who won Best Talent Show.

Escape to the Country presenters Briony Williams, Denise Nurse, Steve Brown, Nicki Chapman, Sonali Shah and Jules Hudson posed together on the red carpet too. The show is nominated for Best Daytime Show this year. Gogglebox cast members Dave Griffiths and Shirley Griffiths were among the guests on the red carpet on Monday night. The show, and it's celebrity version, are up for Best Entertainment Show together in the awards ceremony.
