Many believed the 25-year-old pop star's baby blue Dolce & Gabbana teddy was reminiscent of the 66-year-old Queen of Pop's iconic Jean Paul Gaultier corset from her 1990 Blond Ambition World Tour. Madonna was similarly scantily clad when the same exact photographer Steven Meisel shot her for the cover of Italian Vogue back in 1991.

The 70-year-old lensman also shot the seven-time Grammy winner's 1984 Like a Virgin album cover, her 1992 Sex book, Versace's SS/95 campaign, Louis Vuitton's SS/09 campaign, and her 2009 Vanity Fair cover. On Tuesday, Madonna took to Sabrina's official Instagram account to comment with eye emojis: 'Is this a Valentine's present to me?'. At that, Carpenter - who boasts 99.8M social media followers - responded: '@madonna It sure is!'.
