The new Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. has announced his engagement to girlfriend Olivia Carter. It's another huge milestone for the 24-year-old, who earlier in December replaced Kirk Cousins as the Falcons' starting quarterback. Sharing a video of the engagement, Penix wrote: 'I will love you forever. I can't wait to do life with you.'.
The video shows the stunning efforts Penix went to in order to wow his partner. He had flowers at the ready and huge letters spelling out 'MARRY ME' that left Carter lost for words. In his first game for the Falcons, Penix led his team to a win over the New York Giants with a 34-7 triumph.
