Former Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague has spoken about ex-partner Tommy Fury in her new documentary series, while her sister Zoe has described her own relationship with Tommy as “very turbulent.”. The documentary, Molly-Mae: Behind It All, features video of the two sisters growing up and on holiday when they were children, and Molly-Mae describes them as “definitely your typical sisters growing up – if anyone could fight it was me and Zoe. Some of the fights we’ve had over the years were intense.”.
However, the sisters are now very close, and Molly-Mae reveals that Zoe is the one member of her family who knows everything about what has happened in her relationship with Tommy. “I think Zoe really struggles with Tommy and I the most out of anyone in my family because she has heard it all now and i have really shared it all with her, she’s so invested and cares sometimes a little bit too much,” Molly-Mae says.
During the documentary, Zoe and Molly-Mae chat about Tommy while in a car, and Molly-Mae shows her older sister some messages she has exchanged with Tommy since their break up. On reading them, Zoe says: “I’m sad for you but you have to go through it and it’s hell and that’s what makes me sad – you want to be with 50% of Tommy but you don’t want to be with the other 50% of him.”.
Zoe also tells her sister: “The last two months you've been happier and nicer to be around because you’ve not got the stressors that come along with being with him.” She goes on to explain to the viewers just how she feels about Molly-Mae’s ex, who is the father of her daughter Bambi. “Mine and Tommy's relationship was very very turbulent,” she says. “We definitely butted heads a fair few times about him going out and me being protective with Molly. He was great with Bambi but he wasn’t at the time being a great partner and I think that's what she potentially couldn’t see.”.
