Tara Rushton is heading for a prime time role. The glamorous television presenter wife of NRL great Cooper Cronk has landed a fresh gig at Chanel Ten. The 40-year-old will join 10 News First Sydney as Sports Presenter from 2025. Rushton has spent more than a decade hosting sporting events, including the Formula One Australian Grand Prix, Melbourne Cup Carnival, and the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

She also held presenting roles on Fox Sports Australia and Fox Sports News. Rushton will present the latest in sporting news from Monday to Thursday with weekend Sports Presenter, Scott Mackinnon, expanding his role from Friday to Sunday. The mother of two is an accomplished presenter and journalist, previously hosting sports programs in Singapore and the UK. After spending four years abroad, she moved back to Australia in 2013 and began working as a presenter for Fox Sports. She announced her departure from Fox Sports in June 2021, before signing with 10 Sports to lead its coverage of Australian soccer.
