DOZENS of channel changes have been quietly rolled out on your Sky TV since the start of 2025. An official Sky list reveals every single change that has happened so far – plus the codes you'll need to type in. Sky often adds and removes channels as a way to keep your telly box feeling fresh. And January is a big time for these channel swaps as Sky clears out some of the Christmas changes that it made.

On top of that, The Sun recently revealed how Sky is changing channels in February for Valentine's Day. Almost all of the changes on the list have gone live already, but there's still one that's due to take place on Saturday, February 8. The changes mostly fall into two categories. Some of them are temporary swaps or rebrands based on the time of year. For instances, the addition of a special Bridget Jones channel ahead of Valentine's Day.

And others are old channels that were changed – but are now reverting back to their originals. So for instance, Sky Drama was swapped to Sky Christmas for the festive season, but will now go back to its old branding. It's a similar story for the Harry Potter channel, which is now going back to Sky Family. And Sky Middle Earth will return to being Sky Greats. Wednesday, January 1. Thursday, January 2. Sunday, January 5. Monday, January 6. Tuesday, January 7. Got Sky Q? There are some handy tricks worth knowing about... Find your lost TV remote. If you can't find your Sky Q remote, don't panic. Just press the Sky Q logo on the front of your TV box. It's actually a button that will trigger your TV remote's built-in ringer. You'll get 30 seconds of beeping to find where you've dropped it. Hint: it's probably under the sofa cushion.

Search movies by quotes. You might have already used voice search for controlling TV playback – but your remote's microphone has another clever trick. It turns out that you can say movie quotes into the remote and Sky will find the film for you. This is handy if you can't remember the name of a top movie or show. Here's a list of movie quotes to try on Sky. Save lost recordings. Have you ever deleted something you'd recorded on Sky, only to regret it later?.

Or maybe someone in your family removed something without telling you – sparking a massive row. Don't panic: you can get them back. Just go to Recordings > Manage > Deleted and then simply hit Undelete on the item that you want to resurrect. If you do that, it'll return to your Recordings section as good as new.
