Wayne Rooney was completely unrecognisable as he dressed as Mrs Doubtfire after watching the theatre production with his wife Coleen. The legendary footballer, 39, and his wife, I’m A Celebrity star Coleen, 38, had a ‘date night’ trip to the theatre on Wednesday.

Coleen and Wayne watched Mrs Doubtfire at the Shaftesbury Theatre in the West End, with Coleencommenting that they ‘Really enjoyed the show…amazing cast, lots of laughs throughout.’. She then revealed that the laughs continued off-stage as her husband tried on the Mrs Doubtfire rubber face mask – and looked slightly frightening.

A video posted on Coleen’s story showed Wayne in the mask and wig as he did an impression of the iconic character saying ‘Hello my dear!’. The cast could be heard in peels of laughter in the background as they joked around with the celebrity couple.
