As you paint the art piece, it tells an emotional story through beautifully animated cutscenes, with some light puzzles to solve in between. It’s a short game that won’t take more than a couple of hours to complete, but for the very low price of “free”, it’s definitely worth your time.
Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery usually costs £10.99 / $12.99, so picking it up for free will save you some money on a wholesome addition to your game library. The game will be free until Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 4pm UK time / 11am ET, when it will be replaced by a new one.
Next week’s free title will be survival game Undying, in which you are caught in a zombie apocalypse. To grab Behind the Frame, you will need a free Epic Games Store account. Then, you can claim the game either from the EGS website or from the store’s Epic Games Launcher app.
