Plane passenger sparks outrage with 'inconsiderate' act during three-hour flight

A passenger has found themselves in a hairy situation, after struggling to see their screen mid-flight due to an inconsiderate act. Taking to Reddit, the passenger shared a snap showing their screen on the back of the offending traveler's seat. At the top of the seat, dark gray curly hair can be seen threatening to spill down and over the screen. The irate passenger, who was flying from Palm Beach to Westchester on JetBlue, added in a comment her hair had actually been over the screen before, but they had asked her to tie it up.

'This in addition to her screaming every few seconds at the Super Bowl has made this flight such a pleasure,' they captioned the picture. In a comment, the user added that the woman was also 'pushing her seat back more than was normal and that nest was two inches from my face.'. 'It wasn’t pleasant,' they lamented. The majority of users agreed with the original poster's fury over the questionable act.

Taking to Reddit, the passenger shared a snap showing their screen on the back of the offending traveler's seat. 'I would prefer a crying baby, honestly; at least they have a reason to be inconsiderate,' one user wrote. 'It’s really incredible the amount of people, (fully grown adults especially) who have absolutely zero spatial awareness whatsoever or they just don’t give a f**k about having any consideration for other people in public,' ranted someone else.

They continued: 'Like I’m willing to bet whoever this person is, would be so clueless as to why the entire rest of that plane didn’t enjoy her loud a** mouth, or why you didn’t care to have her rats nest on your TV, but would absolutely lose her s**t if she had someone do these same things to her.'. Others offered some savage advice. 'If you had scissors in your bag, you could fix the hair issue. For the screaming, that's why you need to carry noise canceling headphones with you,' they quipped.

Some people didn't see what the issue was. 'The hair isn't impeding your view of your screen... I'm not sure what's infuriating in the photo? The screaming sucks, but the photo seems a bit much to complain about,' someone commented on the post. It's not the first time a passenger's luscious locks have gotten them into strife mid-flight. Tension began to build between two female passengers on the plane after one deliberately tried to block the view of the on-board TV with her long hair.

The clip showed one passenger becoming irritated after the woman sitting in front of her kept draping her hair over the back of her seat during a flight. She then decided to take matters into her own hands and was seen putting chewing gum into the woman's long, blonde hair. A flight attendant wearing a black face mask walked past, saw what was going on and didn't get involved. The woman then took out a nail clipper and snipped pieces of the hair off before sticking a lollipop to it and dunking the ends of the hair in a mug of coffee.
