Princess Tatiana has broken her silence after her ex-husband Prince Nikolaos of Greece remarried just 10 months after the end of their 14-year marriage. The prince officially tied the knot with shipping heiress Chrysí Vardinogianni in Athens last Friday, celebrating with only 50 of their closest friends and family. The 55-year-old - previously dubbed the 'Playboy Prince' by Tatler for his extravagant partying - had split from Tatiana in April last year.

Although their split was said to be 'amicable', Tatiana hinted at her personal heartbreak in social media posts discussing her 'year of uncertainty, pain and transformation'. In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Tatiana publicly made mention of the wedding for the first time, saying her heart was 'full of gratitude' for the support she's received. Tatiana, who was born in Venezuela, revealed that she will continue living in Greece, and has been focusing on 'personal growth' and moving house.

Sharing a carousel of images that showed her working out and moving house, she wrote: 'I can’t start this post without saying thank you to this incredible community. To everyone who has made me feel at home, strong, and supported—YOU. My heart is full of gratitude. 'When people ask if I will continue to live in Greece, my answer has never been more of a YES. Because of you. Thank you for opening your doors, your hearts & your homes. Your kindness and support means everything.

She said that she will be continuing to live in Greece and has spent time focusing on health and wellness. 'The past few weeks have been an adventure—full of change, growth and exciting new opportunities.'. The entrepeneur said that she's been working on her mindful mental health movement and non-profit organisation Breathe, which has officially partnered with NBA player Kevin Love's foundation. Tatiana continued: 'If there’s one thing I’ve realized, it’s that no matter how much green juice you drink, without community, there is no true health.

'So, thank you all for keeping me healthy. My heart is full. 'Special thanks to those who help me stay strong—physically, emotionally and in every way that matters. 'You guys rock & you are my rock.'. Tatiana explained that she would be spending the upcoming weeks expanding her projects, and staying 'busy and inspired'. The royal wedding also came hot on the heels of divorce for bride Chrysi too as the daughter and heiress of Greek shipping tycoon Yiorgos Vardinogianni only divorced Greek director Konstantinos Markoulakis in December 2023.

On her big day, Chrysí stunned in an elegant, fitted gown, wearing her mother-in-law Queen Anne-Marie's Antique Corsage Tiara. The gorgeous heirloom headpiece was a gift to the final Queen of Greece on her 18th birthday. It was also worn by the wives of Nikolaos' two brothers on their wedding days. The champagne gown, paired with a lace-trimmed veil, had a high neckline and cap sleeves and was made from heavily embellished lace.

Her blonde hair was swept up into an effortless updo, with face-framing strands left free, accompanied by a natural makeup look. Hello Greece previously reported the bride would walk down the aisle in a dress by Greek designer Christos Costarellos - who made Carrie Johnson's bridal gown and counts Meghan Markle among his fans. The Greek Orthodox ceremony took place in the 11th-century St Agios Nikolaos Ragavas Church in the beautiful hillside Plaka neighbourhood, surrounded by ancient buildings including the Acropolis.

The lowkey ceremony was a far cry from Nikolaos' first wedding in 2010 when 370 guests came to the picturesque Greek island of Spetses, including members of European royal houses. The Greek prince - the second son of the late King Constantine of Greece and his wife Queen Anne-Marie of Denmark - left Venezuelan former publicist Princess Tatiana, 44, last year. Soon after, she received the horrifying news her stepbrother had gone missing.
