A TV star who has made headlines due to her child-like look has revealed why she'll likely never share her boyfriend's identity. Shauna Rae Lesick, 26, famed for her stint on TLC, told hosts of the Unplanned Podcast she feared her beau would be 'labelled something he's not' if the public ever discovered him. Though the Long Island, New York, resident is in her mid twenties, she stands at just three-feet 10-inches tall, weighs 50 pounds, and is the average size of a third grader.

Her stunted growth is a side effect of brain cancer treatment that she received as an infant, and unfortunately, her disability has made it hard for her to find love. It also appears the mystery couple - who celebrated their second anniversary last year - are keeping things private after her last partner was branded a 'creep' and accused of only being attracted to her 'because she looks like a kid'.

In a snippet posted to Instagram, Shauna told husband and wife Matt and Abby Howard that she didn't want to expose her lover to negative publicity - which could in turn cause him to lose his 'nice job'. 'I'm more worried because he has a nice job. I don't want anything going bad to the job,' said Shauna. She did however reveal that her boyfriend's employers knew who she was and what she did for a living.
Shauna Rae Lesick (pictured), 26, has told viewers why she'll likely never reveal her boyfriend's identity. 'They love me,' she continued. 'They sent me a gift basket because I was really, really insecure. 'I was like [to my partner} "no, no don't tell them you're dating me" because they're going to be like "no she's a TV star and you can't be affiliated with that"'. But in the end this was not the case as his employers insisted on meeting on her, revealed Shauna.
At this point she appeared slightly emotional, but continued on and said the staff's reception put her at ease and was 'really comforting'. She still looked tense when she explained that sharing her romantic relationship on social media would likely incur consequences, especially if the pair didn't last. 'With everything I know my boyfriend isn't, I just don't want him to be labelled something and him not be my partner forever,' she explained.
'At this point, unless I'm marrying him or spending the rest of my life with him - his face isn't going to be shown'. She did however also state that beyond these reasons, neither of them cared if 'his face was out there'. Though the Long Island, New York, resident is in her mid twenties, she stands at just three-feet 10-inches tall, weighs 50 pounds, and is the average size of a third grader. During the clip Shauna could be seen seated in an orange armchair though her legs barely curled over its seat.
Her voice was also reminiscent of someone much younger than 26, and sounded akin to a child who was perhaps aged 10. Taking to Instagram in 2024, Shauna marked a special milestone with her current beau, who she has managed to keep out of the spotlight. She shared three pictures with her other half, but kept his identity hidden by strategically placing an emoji over his face. Captioning the trio of images, she said: 'Halloween was our anniversary but Happy two years to my best friend!.
'I love you a lot baby and I hope you've enjoyed this really crazy ride we've been on! P.S. imma start using rando emojis.'. Shauna's followers questioned why she posted the images without unveiling her man's face. One asked: 'Why post it if not going to show his face?'. Shauna told host Abby Howard that she didn't want to expose her lover to negative publicity. Another pondered: 'If you don't show him then why post pics with him in the first place?'.
A third commented: 'Why brag and show him without showing his face? If you don't want to share his face, then don't post at all.'. But others were less critical and flooded Shauna's post with their congratulations and well wishes. 'So happy you found your person!' one said. Echoing a similar sentiment, another penned: 'I am happy for you. I think it's a great idea keeping your man's face to yourself. You need some kind of privacy. You look fabulous.'.
A third wrote: 'I am happy for you guys and glad you found happiness.'. TLC star Shauna first went public with her relationship last December when she posted snaps of the two of them together along with the strategic emojis. 'So I've been keeping a secret…for a while actually,' she captioned the upload. '[Heart emoji] all you really need to know is they make me happy and I don't know if I'd be as far in my goals without them.
'You're welcome to your opinion but if it's not supportive you can discuss elsewhere. 'Any hate towards my partner is hate towards me and I don't tolerate that. I support each and every one of you and I ask for that respect back... Much love y'all! Stay amazing, beautiful, and positive!'. In early 2024, Shauna's ex Dan Swygart clapped back at the haters after he was bombarded by a slew of backlash from people who questioned his motives in their relationship and called the pairing 'weird' and 'disturbing' over her 'childlike appearance.'.
