Rebekah Vardy is keen to make a success of her Wagatha Christie businesses. The 42-year-old star - who is married to footballer Jamie Vardy - was hit by claims her business had failed to make a profit. It was claimed she was left 'humiliated' by the fact but her spokesperson insists that is far from the truth. Rebekah is planning to launch a lifestyle brand under the company name Wagatha Christie International Ltd. She trademarked the term, which was used to refer to the trial after Coleen accused Rebekah of leaking her private information to the press. It led to a legal case, which found in Coleen's favour - but Rebekah still maintains her innocence.

Friends close to Rebekah have said of the case: "Rebekah is adamant that the judgement against her was on a technicality and circurmstantial evidence. To this day she knows in her heart that she didn’t do it.". Meanwhile, when it comes to the business, a spokesperson for Rebekah confirmed she is ready to make a success of her business. "The time has not been right to launch this business but Rebekah is now wanting to move forward in her life and make a success of this business. She has had many requests for Wagatha related business opportunities and has had to fight off attempts by others to cash in on what was a most serious time in her life," a spokesperson for Rebekah said.

"She is fed up with the constant sniping at her from some sectors and it is only her resilience that has enabled her to handle the insults and untruths thrown at her. Claims made that she was humiliated because her company failed to make a profit is just laughable as everyone knows that a dormant company means the company is not trading so how can she make a profit when she is not trading. As for their claim of legal defeat on the now registered trademarks, this claim is categorically false. She has never ever faced any legal defeat nor amended or removed any items 'Towels' or 'Bed Linen' as suggested.".

The company currently remains dormant and does not trade yet but Rebekah has been working behind the scenes with a plan to launch the business very soon. It is not her first business venture. Last year, Rebekah decided to launch a vodka range with her friend and former footballer Dennis Wise. The vodka brand, called SKTL, has been inspired by Jamie's love of homemade vodka. It proved popular with the Gen Z market, who loved the sweet taste and fancy bottle. The vodka is also now in a fruity range and was used to celebrate Leicester City's Premier League win all the way back in 2016.
