A FASHION lover has revealed how they found the perfect denim set in Sainsbury’s and she is “obsessed.”. Emily, who posts under @emilyyspencerx, shared how she picked up a matching waistcoat and jeans from the supermarket chain. She modelled the matching Tu Clothing coord in a video which has racked up 17,000 likes, and shared: “. “This denim set is from Sainsburys?!?!?!. “Ok sainsburys I am obsessed.”.

Emily snapped up their Dark Rinse Denim Co-ord Waistcoat, which costs £16 and comes in sizes 8 to 26. Meanwhile, their Dark Rinse Denim Pocket Co-ord Flared Jeans cost £24 and have sizes 8 to 22. Thankfully to accommodate different body shapes, these also come in varying fits, from regular to short and long. The 5ft6 shopper explained how she had picked up a size 10 in the jeans in a regular fit, but in hindsight should have got a size 8.

Emily shared: “The jeans kept falling down so probs should’ve got an 8 but they didn’t have my size and I had to have it.”. However, the fashionista praised the items for being “so comfy”, and showed how she paired them with a pair of gold heels. Many people were impressed with her Sainsbury’s find, with one commenting: “I literally bought this yesterday!! I love it so much.”. Another added: "Sainsburys always knows the vibe.”.

Meanwhile, a third commented: “Running to Sainsbury’s, gorgeous!”. According to the website: “This pair of retro-inspired jeans come in a flattering flared leg. “Designed in a dark wash denim, they're a versatile addition to your wardrobe rotation. “Features a patch pocket detail for a sophisticated touch. Finish the look by partnering them with the coordinating waistcoat.”. Meanwhile, with Christmas pyjamas packed away until the end of the year, there's some new themed nightwear on the rails causing a frenzy.

Shoppers have been sprinting to Sainsbury's to get their hands on some "cute" Valentine's-themed PJs which dropped in store recently. And regardless of whether it's a Valentine's or Galentine's for you this year, their latest nightwear drop is the perfect addition to any plans. Fashion fans are already hailing the gorgeous sets as a must-have to get in the spirit for the romantic occasion. First up, there's a pink 'Wine and Dine' printed pyjama set which even includes a matching eye mask.

Described by the Tu team as adding a "fun touch", the PJs are available in sizes six to 24 and priced at £25. Shoppers can also bag £24 cherry print double cloth traditional pyjamas with a hair scrunchie in sizes XS to XXL, or a pink stripe heart seersucker pyjama shirt for £12 and matching bottoms priced at £13. DEPUTY Fashion Editor Abby McHale weighs in:. The supermarkets have really upped their game when it comes to their fashion lines. These days, as you head in to do your weekly food shop you can also pick up a selection of purse-friendly, stylish pieces for all the family.

Tesco has just announced a 0.7 per cent increase in the quarter thanks to a 'strong growth in clothing' and M&S has earnt the title of the number one destination for womenswear on the high street. Asda's clothing line George has made £1.5 million for the supermarket in 2023, 80 per cent of Sainsbury's clothes sold at full price rather than discounted and Nutmeg at Morrisons sales are also up 2 per cent in the past year.

So what is it about supermarket fashion that is becoming so successful?. Apart from the clothing actually being affordable, it's good quality too - with many being part of schemes such as the Better Cotton Initiative. A lot of the time they keep to classic pieces that they know will last the customer year after year. Plus because they buy so much stock they can turn around pieces quickly and buy for cheaper because of the volumes.
