Sarah Ferguson has wished her followers a Happy New Year and urged them to make 'joy bubbles' in a message from Austria. The Duchess of York, 65, wrapped up warm in a burgundy suede coat as she stepped outside in Altaussee to record her New Year message.

Sarah, who has received treatment for two forms of cancer in 2024, revealed that she was full of 'gratitude' and urged her 750,000 followers to 'always turn to joy'. In the clip, which was shared on her Instagram, she said: 'Hello from Austria, from Altaussee, a very, very Happy New Year to you all and thank you. Just huge gratitude, huge love.'.

Blowing her breath into the cold air she added: 'You can see it's minus seven out here look.'. She concluded the video by saying: 'And let's make joy bubbles, and really embrace the love, and always turn to joy.'. Keeping her famously red hair tied back, the former wife of Prince Andrew appeared in great spirits as fireworks went off in the background of the clip.

The mother-of-two, who shares Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie with the Queen's second son, added a bit of glamour with gold hoop earrings. Sarah Ferguson wished her followers a Happy New Year and urged them to make 'joy bubbles' in a message from Austria.

The message to her followers comes one day after she seemingly launched an influencing career, after sharing a paid partnership post to her social media account. Sarah took to Instagram to recommend a mental health and well-being app called Zoul, which also boasts Lottie Tomlinson, sister of One Direction's Louis, as a partner.
