LUKE LITTLER believes Manchester United made a mistake by selling Scott McTominay. The midfielder departed Old Trafford in the summer and joined Napoli for £25million. He has since performed very well in Serie A with Napoli top of the league. McTominay, 28, has scored six goals and produced four assists in 22 games, and United fan Littler thinks his departure was a big one. He told The United Stand: "One of the big ones that we let go was Scott McTominay, That was one of the biggest sales that we have made.

Asked if he thought that was a mistake, Littler replied: "I think it was. Look at what him and [Romelu] Lukaku are doing over in Napoli.". Littler also discussed Marcus Rashford's loan switch to Aston Villa, and he thinks it could be a good move for the forward. But he seemed less supportive of the idea of Rashford leaving permanently. He said: "If he goes in the summer to a different club it is going to feel weird.
