SIR PAUL McCARTNEY’s fans can expect a Get Back-style documentary chronicling the past two decades of his life. Charlie Lightening, the filmmaker who has followed The Beatles legend around the world for the past 16 years, has caught huge moments in Paul’s life on camera, including him jamming with Stevie Wonder backstage at the Grammys and meeting Barack Obama.

At the launch of his new film, Standing On The Shoulder Of Kitties, Charlie told me: “There’s enough to make numerous movies or an amazing documentary from it all. “If you look at Get Back and think about that footage that sat on a shelf somewhere. The stuff that I’ve documented is mind-bending.”.

Speaking about working with Paul, Charlie said: “It’s changed my life in so many ways. "He’s made me better at what I do. He’s helped me and pushed me. "I’m eternally grateful for the time I’ve had with him. It’s a real family when we tour.

"I definitely don’t take it for granted. "Also the shows and the places we go and the things we do, we’re looked after.
