This Morning's latest Spin to Win had Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard nearly speechless on Thursday (January 16). The hit segment offers viewers the chance to scoop cash and branded goodies. But today, host duo Cat and Ben received a shock when they dialled up Sheffield local Steve on his day off, only to discover he'd been donating a kidney to his wife!.

"Oh my goodness me! You donated your kidney to your wife? Steve, that's amazing!" exclaimed a flabbergasted Ben as Cat looked on, at a loss for words. Steve reported back that not only had the surgery been a "brilliant" success, but both he and his wife were doing "fine".

Eager to celebrate Steve's selflessness, Cat declared, "Oh, that is ace! Let's try and win you some blinking money," before giving the wheel a vigorous spin. And it seems lady luck was looking out for Steve; he scooped £2,000 for an EasyJet holiday, plus an added £300 for spending. Overjoyed, Steve said he would probably spend the winnings on a trip to Lanzarote with his wife, an annual ritual for the couple.

Wishing him well, Ben praised, "Good luck with your recovery, what an amazing thing to be able to do," as Cat sent out her "love" to the pair. Ben added: "Send us a postcard, Steve, and your lovely wife, when you get there. We'd love to see you enjoying yourselves," drawing the chat to a close, reports the Manchester Evening News.
