TOWIE's Matilda Draper was forced to pull out of filming in Bali after her travel documents failed to come through, it has been revealed. Matilda, 24, who appeared on Love Island last summer, joined the cast of the ITV reality show just last week after embarking on a romance with Roman Hackett.

She was meant to fly out with other cast members to film scenes in Bali but her visa application hasn't come back in time and she has been forced to stay in Essex. TOWIE bosses reportedly wanted Matilda there but have since revealed that Roman will instead fly out alone - and his ex Dani Imbert will also be there.

Both Roman and Dani shared to their respective Instagram Stories on Wednesday that they had landed in the Indonesian hotspot and checked into the hotel where the cast are staying. A source told The Sun: 'It was one of those logistical problems. Matilda had hoped all the travel paperwork would be done on time but she only signed onto the show the day before she began filming last week so there just wasn't time to get everything ironed out.'.
