A TRAIN station has been evacuated after an e-bike caught fire as passengers have been told to "stay back". Fire crews rushed to Rayners Lane Underground Station in north-west London after receiving reports of an e-bike ablaze at 11.30am today. Three fire engines are currently battling the fire at the station, while travellers are stuck outside the station.

One person at the station told The Sun how passengers had been told to "stay back" as they were rapidly evacuated. A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade told The Sun: "We have been called to reports of an e-bike alight at Rayners Lane Underground Station.

"Three fire engines are in attendance. "We were called at 11.30am and are still at the scene.". The Metropolitan Line is currently part suspended between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Uxbridge, according to the TfL website. It says: "No service between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Uxbridge while we respond to a fire alert at Rayners Lane.".
