Trent Alexander-Arnold has headed off to Venice with his partner amid continued talk over whether or not he'll remain at Liverpool. The right-back has opted to enjoy some down time in the famous Italian city with he and his influencer girlfriend Estelle Behnke staying at the £1,5000-a-night Aman hotel.

Alexander-Arnold was snapped at the lavish Italian restaurant Regina Corner on Monday. He and his partner were thanked for 'stopping by' the Venetian restaurant during their short trip as they took advantage of a rare midweek break with the Reds sitting pretty on top of the Premier League.

Their 5-0 win at West Ham rounded out a stellar second half of 2024 with Liverpool looking the hot favourite to land the top flight title. Those at Anfield are waiting to see what several of their leading lights will do next - Alexander-Arnold among them.

Last week reports in Spain claimed that Alexander-Arnold, who is out of contract in a matter of months, had made up his mind to join Real Madrid. The Spanish giants are thought to be making moves to finalise his signing, which would see the Liverpool man team up with pal Jude Bellingham.

Alexander-Arnold celebrated his goal against West Ham with a gesture that hit back at all the talk surrounding him and Arne Slot was keen on hone in on that. He said: “He’s playing really well, scored a great goal and the way he celebrated his goal probably tells you enough, so I don’t think I have to say much more about it.".

The right-back claimed earlier this season that his ultimate ambition was to win the Ballon d'Or. It would make him the first player in his position to ever do so and Jamie Carragher admitted he was unlikely to achieve that at Liverpool, but had a greater chance if he did move to Real.
