Director Justin Baldoni’s legal team recently released previously behind-the-scenes footage from It Ends With Us as he continues to deny sexual harassment allegations from co-star Blake Lively. Now, an intimacy co-ordinator has shared their thoughts. The ten minute video showed the pair filming a slow dance scene for the movie, as well as the pair engaging in small talk.
Blake could be heard telling Justin she felt it was "more romantic" to talk while they danced, and then joked that she felt “so nosey,” when their noses touched during the dance. "I know. And my nose is so big,” Baldoni joked. However, Blake Lively’s lawyer told TMZ shortly after: "Justin Baldoni and his lawyer may hope that this latest stunt will get ahead of the damaging evidence against him, but the video itself is damning. Every frame of the released footage corroborates, to the letter, what Ms. Lively described in Paragraph 48 of her Complaint.".
Lively's teams also claim the video "shows Mr. Baldoni repeatedly leaning in toward Ms. Lively, attempting to kiss her, kissing her forehead, rubbing his face and mouth against her neck, flicking her lip with his thumb, caressing her, telling her how good she smells, and talking with her out of character.".
Now, intimacy co-ordinator Mia Schachter who has worked on Apple TV+’s Lessons in Chemistry, HBO’s Insecure and FX’s American Crime Story has shared her thoughts with The Hollywood Reporter. On what stood out for her during the scene, she told the publication: “The first thing is that he is trying to kiss her, and they clearly haven’t discussed that ahead of time, and she keeps pulling away and clearly doesn’t want to do that.".
