Marius Iepure was born in August 1982, and is a Romanian dancer. He first discovered his love of dancing at the age of 12. Marius participated in the show Let's Dance in 2014 and 2015. He is the husband of former Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse, who is also his professional dance partner.

The couple worked together when he appeared as a backing dancer on Strictly. The professional ballroom dancers met in Germany during a dance trial. They have competed in several competitions together, winning gold at the German National Show Dance Championships.

They also came second at the World Latin Championships. Marius describes himself as an "Artist, Director, Event Organizer, Choreographer, Dance Champion, Dancer, Judge, Coach" on his Instagram bio. Marius popped the question to Oti on his birthday in 2014 and they tied the knot on August 31 the same year.

Even though the couple became engaged in 2014, it wasn't until 2017 that Oti shared a romantic throwback of the moment she said "I do". Alongside the photo, she wrote: "Three years ago today this wonderful CRAZY man was annoying the life out of me because he was acting nervous (and yes I let him know I was annoyed) but it was only because he was nervous as he was GOING TO PROPOSE.
