Wes was born on August 16, 1995, in Canada. Standing at 6ft 3in (1.91 m) and weighing approximately 311 pounds (141 kg), he has made significant strides in the world of strongman events since he began competing in 2017. His journey in strength sports has been marked by a series of impressive performances and notable achievements.

After finishing second in Canada’s Strongest Man 2021, Wes told Thorold Today: “It felt good to come second but only for a moment. “Second place isn’t what we strive for. “First place is the only option. “World’s strongest man is the goal.”.

Wes' strongman career includes participation in various prestigious competitions, including the World's Strongest Man (WSM). As of December 2024, he has competed in the WSM three times, achieving his best placement of 6th place in both the 2023 and 2024 competitions.

His consistent performance at this elite level showcases his dedication and skill in the sport. Wes has also competed in other significant events. He secured a second-place finish at the 2023 Shaw Classic, further establishing himself as a formidable competitor.
