Abbie Chatfield has delivered a fiery rant, attacking federal Liberal leader Peter Dutton over his housing policy. The 29-year-old Fboy Island star slammed the opposition leader's proposal that Australians can use up to $50,000 of their super funds to buy their first home.
They will then eventually have to return the borrowed funds to their super. Taking to her Instagram on Thursday, Abbie threw shade at the plan in a lengthy video in which she criticised Dutton's policy as one that will see 'the rich get richer' while everyday Australians would be left behind.
'Don’t be fooled! This is NOT a policy that will benefit everyday Australians in the long run,' Abbie said in the caption. 'Accessing your own retirement fund is NOT financially sound, and a policy like this will only result in increased housing prices, which will result in higher economic inequality.
