AC Milan make final transfer decision between Marcus Rashford and Kyle Walker after only being allowed to sign one

AC MILAN have abandoned their pursuit of Marcus Rashford in their bid to land Kyle Walker. Both England stars are desperate to escape Manchester amid torrid seasons - with both on the Italian giants' radar. However, Serie A rules only allow clubs to register one British player per year.
And Milan have opted to bolster their defence with a move for 34-year-old Manchester City right-back Walker. The 93-cap England star has won six Premier League titles at the Etihad, but has slipped down Pep Guardiola's pecking order amid a turbulent year on and off the pitch.
Now, L'Equipe claim Milan have decided against a move for Rashford - who has been frozen out under new Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim - in order to land Walker. Calciomercato report Walker and Milan have agreed to personal terms on a two-and-a-half-year contract, expiring at the end of the 2026-27 season - by which time he will be 37.
And Matteo Moretto has revealed Walker is in talks to TERMINATE his Man City contract - currently due to run until the end of next season - allowing him to complete a free transfer. There had been reports that Walker would only be leaving the Etihad on loan.
However, the latest reports suggest the move will be permanent. SunSport exclusives. Already have these accounts? Don't worry, we've got loads more terrific deals below!.
