An adorable dog who has a wonky face has been compared to a Picasso masterpiece - and his unique looks have earned him a legion of fans. Rescue pup Brodie, five, was bitten by his mother as a puppy and left partially blind in one eye with a misshapen face.
But Amanda Richter, 34, fell in love with the German Shepherd mix immediately. She thought he was 'perfect', but admits he looks a bit like 'a Picasso masterpiece'. Pablo Picasso was one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, focusing largely on abstract sculptures and surrealism in his paintings.
Ms Richter, a photographer from British Columbia in Canada, said: 'He's a spunky little guy. He makes me laugh. He's a bundle of energy and care-free. 'I get the comment a lot that he looks a lot like a cartoon dog that we used to draw as a kid. He's not perfect but he is still loved.
'It's not about what's on the outside. That dog has the biggest heart. Rescue pup Brodie, five, was bitten by his mother as a puppy and left partially blind in one eye with a misshapen face. 'He's perfect to me.'. The photographer knew she had to adopt Brodie as soon as she saw a social media post about him by the Old MacDonald Kennels in Alberta.
She said the pup, whose jaw is partially fused shut, has 'no clue' that he is different. 'He's full of life,' Ms Richter said. 'He wants to play all the time. 'He's very smart too.'. The dog lover started sharing photographs of Brodie on Instagram - and one of her followers sent her the profile of a rescue dog with an uncanny resemblance to him.
