IF your home is feeling on the chillier side these days, Aldi has just the thing. The budget retailer has launched a bargain winter buy for just £15 that will keep you warm without having to wack on the heating. With energy bills having risen at the beginning of January and the Winter Fuel Payment scrapped for millions, turning up the heating is simply not affordable for many Britons.
But Aldi's heated mattress pad offers the perfect solution to staying warm as temperatures plummet. The Heated Mattress Pad hits the shelves tomorrow, Thursday 16 and will retail for just £14.99. The clever technology comes with three temperature settings so shoppers can adjust the heating to their preference.
Unfortunately the product is only available in stores. Aldi does not offer home deliveries, but you can check with your nearest store to see if the products are in stock before making the trip. Shoppers can find their nearest store using the Aldi store finder tool.
Aldi is selling the electric Heated Mattress Pad for £14.99, which appears to be the cheapest option on the market. Alternatively, shoppers can purchase the Ohs Electric Underblanket from Tesco, which is £16.99 and is a good offer for those looking for home delivery as Tesco offers free delivery with the purchase.
Dunelm currently has a deal on its Cosy and Warm Electric Blanket, as it has been reduced from £22 to £15.40. However, shoppers should be aware of the £3.95 delivery fee. Another option is The Range's Electric Heated Mattress Pad which has been reduced to £16.70.
