Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria playfully arrived on the red carpet at the All In: Comedy About Love gala by Simon Rich in New York on Monday night. The actor, 66, joined his glamorous wife, 40, at the Hudson Theatre before celebrating the new comedy.
Hilaria cut a casual, but chic figure in a khaki green jumper and black denim skirt, teamed with black court heels. Alec attempted to make people laugh by putting on an animated display on his arrival. All In: Comedy About Love is 'a series of hilarious short stories about dating, heartbreak, marriage and that sort of thing,' according to Broadway Plus.
A revolving cast of groups of four will take the stage each week, per the website. Alec's appearance at the gala comes after a string of scandals. He was recently criticized for branding Americans 'uninformed' during a recent film festival. When the star received this year's Lifetime Achievement Award at the Torino Film Festival in northern Italy, he said Americans were 'uneducated' about the world's most pressing issues.
Alec said: 'Americans are very uninformed about reality - what's really going on. 'Americans have an appetite for a little bit of information.'. And the comments sparked outrage among his fellow New Yorkers which even sparked a series of wild claims from a neighbour.
