Colin Egglesfield announced that he has been diagnosed with cancer for the third time in his latest health update shared to Instagram on Monday. The All My Children star, 51, revealed to this fans that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer and recently underwent surgery after catching it 'early.'.

The actor was previously diagnosed with testicular cancer twice - which he opened up about years later in 2019. Egglesfield uploaded an assortment of photos of himself amid his third cancer journey, such as snap of himself smiling while resting on a hospital bed.

He explained that he 'found this quote from an interview I did when I was 25 and it has served me well throughout my life including recently.'.

Egglesfield admitted, 'The beginning to this year hasn't been the easiest, but in the spirit of what I said in my interview, this is another opportunity to decide who I choose to be in the face of uncertainty and challenges in my most recent cancer diagnosis.'.
