The actor was previously diagnosed with testicular cancer twice - which he opened up about years later in 2019. Egglesfield uploaded an assortment of photos of himself amid his third cancer journey, such as snap of himself smiling while resting on a hospital bed.
In the lengthy caption, Colin shared a quote that read: 'It's not the hand that you've been dealt because you can't change that. It's how you play the cards that counts.'. He explained that he 'found this quote from an interview I did when I was 25 and it has served me well throughout my life including recently.'.
