Amanda Holden 'gifted' jaw-dropping £200,000 new engagement ring by husband

Amanda Holden was reportedly gifted a brand-new £200,000 engagement ring by her husband, Chris Hughes. The Britain's Got Talent judge and radio star has been married to producer Chris since 2008, with the two sharing two daughters - Alexa and Hollie. Amanda and Chris started their romance in 2004 and sealed their love in a glam ceremony at Babington House, Somerset, in 2008.
They now reside in a stunning £7 million Surrey mansion with their lovable pooches Minnie and Rudie as well as their daughters However, Heart Breakfast star Amanda spilled about her husband's cheeky prediction that should they ever split, she'd be remarried "within the year".
Chris is said to have originally gifted her an engagement worth around £40,000, but Amanda was reportedly given an upgraded ring for Christmas. Diamond expert Zack Stone, from Steven Stone Jewellers, claimed her new ring cost around £200,000. "The oval ring with yellow gold band and platinum head with hidden halo looks to be six to seven carats in size and the cost likely to be £200,000," he said to Mail On Sunday. He added that her old ring, that was 'a two-and-a-half carat emerald cut ring', was around £40,000. The Mirror reached out to her reps for comment.
Amanda discussed her husband's claim that she would remarry 'within the year' if they ever split during a conversation with Davina McCall about dating show, My Mum, Your Dad, where they highlighted how some women have been solo for ten years. To this, Amanda responded: "Oh my gosh; I can't imagine. I mean, this is going to make me sound shallow, but my husband always says I'll probably be married within the year if he left me.".
