Apple Cider Vinegar fans 'shocked' by Netflix show accuracy as 'delusional' Belle Gibson clip resurfaces The newest Netflix series, Apple Cider Vinegar, is based on the true story of a young influencer who fooled viewers into believing her terminal brain cancer was reversed by changes made to her diet and through unorthodox therapies - and now fans are realising just how accurate the drama is.

One viewer posted a video of Belle being interviewed for 60 Minutes Australia - which is recreated in a scene in the Netflix drama - where Belle avoids answering the simple question of what her age is.

Viewers took to X (Twitter) to share their thoughts on the Netflix drama, digging up old interviews with the real Belle as they noticed how accurate Kaitlyn's portrayal of the scammer is.

Alongside the video, the viewer wrote: "Watching #AppleCiderVinegar makes you wonder to what extent the depiction of belle is accurate but this interview of her not even being able to give a straight answer about her own age says ALOT.".

When the interviewer asks how old Belle is in the clip after the scammer was accused of lying about her age, she responds: "I've always been raised as being currently a 26 year old."
